I am a driven-to-create artist. I work in many mediums, painting, drawing (ink, acrylic, ink, charcoal, and pastels), film, graphics,
photography, ceramics, and have published books of my art and poetry "Journey of a Mystic Artist" and "Reflections"
My work and creativity are guiding forces in my life. I am blessed to have the time and support in order to create. I cannot imagine a world without art and creativity. It is essential for me to share mood and passion and make a statement in my work.
Years ago my Mac computer and a Adobe Photoshop course led me down a new path in my adventure to create – amazing tools that think like me (right brain), drawing, merging colors, layering, blending and cropping.
IMovie helped me organize and group the images intuitively. Floating images with the Ken Burns tool put movement into my films and working with the Media Net organization was helpful. My brother’s music brought my films to life. I love the multidimensional quality of film.
Themes of orbs and lines have emerged in my work. I often enter an alpha state when creating.
When I work on canvas or paper I enjoy creating portraits and nature scenes.
With graphics I make abstract or cartoon images. First I choose the background colour from dark to light, then the image. The image tells me what to create next. The theme comes next then the title.
I hope to inspire individuals with my work.
